The number of vents seems largely irrelevant to cooling the car, frankly. AC is aspirational in a C8 more than it is actual.

The 2008 (and up) models have the double capacity AC units. Four ports instead of two. Is there anybody on this site that has driven a car with the 08 AC, and a closed top in hot weather?

I think Jesus has the double AC capacity, and a closed car in a hot climate. Maybe he can chime in.

#083 has the double capacity AC and four vents, and it works great, top removed.

I keep the middle two vents pointed directly at the driver. In very hot or cold weather, it is a real life saver.
