                • image_14454.jpeg image_14455.jpeg image_14456.jpeg Gents, #115 had a rough day yesterday. As you may be aware, my part of the world has suffered some awful potholes over the winter, and repairs by our municipalities are not keeping up with the damage. Attempting to avoid one such pothole yesterday, I firmly nailed another at about 40mph. The pictures tell the tale. I've contacted Chris Mora for replacements, but any advice/suggestions are welcome.

                  • Ouch, that hurts. Hope you can get new alloys soon.

                        • With the current potholes around I keep my tires at 3LB over recommended pressure. Our 650ix is on it's 7th tire replacement on 22K miles.

I have an extra rim that you can borrow if necessary.

                          • Also try getting compensation from the municipality that owns the road (state or county or town). In NJ there is a process and form to claim with, never done it though - found out too late after the last blow out.

                            • IIRC, if you are the second claim, you have a case. First claim just puts them on notice.

                              • I'll file one claim for each tire!
