Spyker produces a unique limited edition series of the C8 Laviolette - Basic Instinct 2 Model
Zeewolde, 24 April 2006 - A year after Spyker first announced that the Spyker C8 Laviolette had been chosen for a pivotal role in Basic Instinct 2, driven by the film’s protagonist Catherine Trammell (Sharon Stone), it is now announcing that it will produce a unique Limited Edition series of the C8 Laviolette as used for this movie. The cars have the identical features of the original movie car (chassis number 015). Only 25 cars will be made of which 20 have already been pre-sold. It is the first time ever that Spyker will produce a limited edition of any of its models.
Coincidently the Spyker C8 Laviolette features the cover of the May 2006 issue of the luxury lifestyle magazine Robb Report in a picture of unprecedented level. The seven page article features further impressive images. All photography is by Jerry Wyszatycki and Tricia Krefetz.
The Spyker C8 Laviolette has been fully US certified since June 2005.
