  • #066 - C8 Double 12 S - Blue/Tan

I am not sure what to make of this, but the picture clearly reads 'C8 Double 12 S' and '066'. If these are the current colours, than I'm not sure we've seen this VIN before.

And I guess we can conclude that the roof is bolted on later?
Or.....or....is this contributing to the LaTurbie -> C8 Double 12S conversion theory of AX Lover?

I can't see the picture, can you upload it somewhere else?

      Now it works

I believe that all bodies come in as Spyder's and that they put the roof on later. But what is more amazing is the fact that this C8 Double12 S has nog rivets in the body (as far as I can see).

Finally a better picture of this double12S Spyder. Found these pictures here. This is the comment on the site where I found the pictures: "Spyker C8 Double 12S. 1 of 1 in Ferrari Pozzi Blue and Ferrari Cuio interior".

Finally spotted outside the Spyker factory! Nice find Wouter

"Pics are from when I PDI'ed it in 2006." according to forum member 'Challenge it' of the Luxury4play forum

                  What does PDI'ed mean?

PDI means "pre-delivery inspection" so this car was delivered in 2006...

That makes pefectly sense, as the other photographs where #066 is still being build are from february 2006 and the one of the finished #066 is from april 2006. The hardtop probably still had to be made by that time.

Very nice LavioletteGT2R! Good to see she's okay and still in the US. Btw, is she road legal? I'm not sure what eGarage is and whether the car is there permanently: would be a shame.

I am not sure IVR but I think the C8 Double 12 is not roadlegal within the US, so this beauty is probably a garage Queen...
