#066 - C8 Double 12 S - Blue/Tan

I am not sure what to make of this, but the picture clearly reads 'C8 Double 12 S' and '066'. If these are the current colours, than I'm not sure we've seen this VIN before.



And I guess we can conclude that the roof is bolted on later?
Or.....or....is this contributing to the LaTurbie -> C8 Double 12S conversion theory of AX Lover?

I believe that all bodies come in as Spyder's and that they put the roof on later. But what is more amazing is the fact that this C8 Double12 S has nog rivets in the body (as far as I can see).

PDI means "pre-delivery inspection" so this car was delivered in 2006...

That makes pefectly sense, as the other photographs where #066 is still being build are from february 2006 and the one of the finished #066 is from april 2006. The hardtop probably still had to be made by that time.

I am not sure IVR but I think the C8 Double 12 is not roadlegal within the US, so this beauty is probably a garage Queen...
