i had one of those in my first Spyker, 038. It is the air intake in the older cars and is located in the front of the car behind the fans. It is a royal pain in the ass due to the placement of it--directly above the wheel nut, tool kit and battery. later designs did away with this obnoxious thing.

IIRC, there was no "fasten seatbelt" connection, so the wires will just come out.
Even after taking out the leather covered rear wall panels, you cannot get to the roll-up mechanism of the standard seat belts. They are in (behind?) the fire wall.Rijk
