    Hi Rijk,

Sounds like Alex is a good kid and that you have fun together!

    • Hi Scott,

And then Alex (18) is not the car guy in our next generation.

Max (20), his older brother, loves cars, constantly working to extract the S2000 from my grip. I convinced him to leave the S2000 upstate as my winter convertible. Will have another pull and tug session in the spring

Alex, in the mean time doesn't even care to have a learners permit, and is willing to wait out for the self driving cars that are coming.....

        Hi Rijk,

It is so interesting how two children from the same family can be so different. However, today there are a lot more things for kids to get interested in than when I was growing up. All I did was study, work to buy gas and pay for my car insurance, and build my car. There were no cell phones, internet, video games, or social media to occupy my time. I would have done anything to have had a dad like you who was interested in cars!

In reference to the large center lug nut and its removal, I would like to purchase the tool/impact wrench that the factory uses to tighten the center lug nuts to the spindles. It is obviously a superior tool than the large socket that is provided with the tool kit from the standpoint that the factory tool does not scratch the finish on the nuts. Can the factory sell me a tool like they use?

                • I bought a 1" inch torque wrench a few years ago. Will make a picture for the brand. Impact wrenches damage the nuts. Manually undoing the front wheels takes a multiple of the force compared to tightening the nut. To save my torque wrench, I also bought a 1" breaker bar. And still needed a 8 feet steel pipe for leverage

You also need a person in the car to step on the brakes....

That is Jim Glickenhaus' P4/5. There were two more Spykers left of this picture. Those are really hidden

                          Hi Rijk,

Thank you for your two postings on the torque wrench, I'll definitely have to get one!
