    I'm guessing that the fuel filler on the hood would lead to scratches and dripping fuel across the paintwork. Not my preference.

      I don't see a fuel cap on the hood anywhere, so don't think the owner has that problem. As far as I know only VIN 001 and 002 had that.

        Yes, only the very first Spykers had the fuel cap on the hood, including this Laviolette:
