I'm guessing that the fuel filler on the hood would lead to scratches and dripping fuel across the paintwork. Not my preference.

I don't see a fuel cap on the hood anywhere, so don't think the owner has that problem. As far as I know only VIN 001 and 002 had that.

Yes, only the very first Spykers had the fuel cap on the hood, including this Laviolette:

Found these pictures on a Chinese forum (www.bmwcct.com.). This early C8 Laviolette is fitted with after market rims...

My guess it has a chassisnumber in or close to the 50-60 range.
- Lotus steeringwheel.
- 2nd style seats (with slot for 3-point seatbelt)

The Laviolette with the fueltank in the front is #005.
