I like The Stable. Haven't been there for a few years though. Almost bought a GTC from them, but ended up with the Daytona ten years ago....

But you'll lose all that lovely uncertainty!! Or as I say to my wife, excited anticipation of arrival! My XK was overcharging for a while - cooking batteries (yes original 6V'ers), and after adjusting/replacing the regulator, sending the generator off to an expert rebuilder etc it turned out to be a wrongly connected wire to the regulator - nice old cloth covered wires!! I run mine all original..

Nice trip in the Aston this summer - lots of fast road work - had the brakes all rebuilt (girlings on the front, dunlop on the rear for some reason) before I went - only to have the servo start leaking on me (see pic - there should not be fluid in there). They worked ok - just had to pump a bit and they would stick on every now and then. The wonders of running an old car - at least no laptop required!!

The Mercedes Silver Arrow didn't race, but Sir Moss did take it around the track for a "Demo Lap"

Gents- I went to LRP Historics too.. and took my parents.. they LOVE cars.. especially vintage...
But I never go for the concourse on Sunday,,.. I go to watch the RACES.. !! To watch these "old girls" run.. and compete.. like they were built to do ...
    As usual, it was heavenly..
