We did a spirited drive through some of the most beautiful roads that you can find on the east coast. We were joined by a friend and his wife in a Porsche. She apparently did not take well to the spirited part, and did not only comment during the drive, but also long after....

    Made me think of this:

I want to thank everybody that made this event very special. I was very nervous if it would work out. With so many local owners not being able to attend, I was very pleased to have three Spykers on our front lawn. I will never forget that.

We also had four new Saab 9-5's. Probably the biggest gathering of new 9-5's outside of the factory. We had two dealers. JMK and New Salem (Cathy and Darryl) are so enthusiastic, it is infectious. They were offering test drives, and a lot of people took advantage of it

Besides having a non-functioning coffee machine, the lunch from Bread Alone was great. Jane and Margaret solved any shortcomings and made everything work smoothly.

The spirited drive, on the best roads that the Catskills have to offer, left at least one sherrif confused

The smell of hot brakes at the end of the trip, were the best proof that everybody (almost everybody) enjoyed the perfectly banked, tiny mountain roads which had mostly no speed limit.

That Lambo Yellow really looks great on the Spyker. Much better than I thought it would

I'm afraid I don't have any photos of the entrance to the driveway, but I can add my appreciation for a great event. It was certainly a success in my book!
