My heart stopped for a moment when I saw a pair of yellow headlights standing still beside the guardrail... Thankfully it turned out to be an IMSA Porsche. The Spykers aren't the fastest in class but as long as the Ferraris and Porsches keep failing they will slowly but surely make their way to the front of the pack. Let's hope so.

The Spyker is in a steady 8th place right now. They are one lap behind place 7 and number 9 is 1 lap behind them.
Jarek Janis is driving at the moment.
Jarik Janis took over from Tom. He is currently running in 8th position.A quick stop to refuel and he is on its way again.

First raindrops are spotted. But looks like very light rain.
The Spyker managed to stay out of trouble and made it trough the night. The team had its share of smaller problems such as tire pick-up, flat spots and worn out front brake discs and pads but all were quickly fixed.
All drivers are really easy on the throttle and said that the car drives extremely well. Jarek just completed another double stint - the Michelin factory tires are doing well - and Jeroen is now in the car. We have just had a safety car situation after a big shunt of an Aston Martin. The weather is still great but the radar shows light rain close to Le Mans.
