... Christmas Eve, a special spooky experience! I was on Kilauea (Hawaii) yesterday evening, and the pictured crater with a reflection of the melted lava below was already quite something! But then, the clouds opened up for a moment, and I could see the full moon on my left, and a rainbow on my right! My God, I didn't even know such a thing existed... after 5 minutes it was all over...
The 2nd picture is a lookalike, taken by Sean King 2 years ago. In our case, the rare Christmas full moon was on the left, moonbow on the right. I didn't have any equipment with me to take such a wonderful panoramic shot of the night scene!Last edited by amzamz; 26-12-2015, 06:57.
