Not as nice as the Exige, but considering the Z4 just received facelift you might get a good deal on the Z4M

        • A facelift? It's a complete new model

That also explains the new hardtop instead of the softtop :P

Nice design, but no engine/chassis to speak of

              Still look like a Z4, that's why I call it a facelift

              • How about a late model Maserati Gransport Spyder?

I could change my handle in "Spyder Spider Spyder"

                  • Honestly, these are a triumph of styling over engineering -- at least that's my opinion after having driven that model. How about a Wiesmann GT? They have really caught my interest lately.

I forgot. The idea was that I already had something Italian

In that case: another reason to opt for the Lotus Exige S

I think I would prefer the SC with the sports package over the Exige S.

Aren't the horsepower ratings very close anyway?

                              I knew

The top of the Exige MKII has always been removable. But you can't take the op with you. A softop wasn't available unless you drilled a couple of holes in your Exige and created the same system as the Elise.

On the Exige S the softop is on the option list.

Horsepower ratios are indeed very close: Exige S 225bhp vs Elise SC 218bhp.

The Exige S has an intercooler. And for the rest of the differences it is mostly setup + tyres.
