You are welcome. The lines of the car in the first Pebble Beach picture are stunning if you ask me.

Jerome Clarkson needs to have a lesson in how to wear four point seat belts. This way its like wearing no belts...

For whatever reason Spyker or the movie company decided that the Spykers used in the movie should be Champion Silver instead of Jet Black. So both #016 and #020 were repainted Champion Silver. Originally both #016 and #020 did not have sidemarkers but adding these might have something to do with the fact that #016 and #020 were to be used in the U.S. Most of the filming was on public roads and this could have meant that these Spyders should comply with U.S. regulations. As far as I know all Spykers exported to the U.S. do have sidemarkers. The blinkers are not the ones you would expect on these low VIN numbers #016 and #020. You would expect the square ones. The fact that these early cars have the Bentley sidemarkers in itself implicates that these were added later. It might seem a lot of work to add sidemarkers later but the fact that these Spykers were to be repainted anyway certainly made things easier!

The Spyker that was used in the movie "Rogue" / "WAR" does have the Bentley sidemarkers. Konig Motor Club state that the Champion Silver / Ruby C8 Spyder has been used in this movie. Hans van Rennes told us (not at the last factory visit, but the one before) that #016 and #020 were the Spyders used in the movie Rogue (If I remember correctly #020 was also mentioned in a press release about the movie, along with #055, the La Turbie). #016 is still for sale at DCT Belgium, so the one at Konig must therefore be #020...

    Could it be #028? http://www.spykerowner.com/forum/18969-post1.html

You can see that JC has the four point seat belts way too loose. I guess that is why you cannot get them any more.

#016 and #020 were both used in the movie 'War' and both the König Motor Spyker and #016 look very similar (apart from the aircovents) So I guess you are right IVR: The Spyker at König Motor, most likely, is #020!
