        Hi Stephan,

I think you got it! Protect the dash, polish the dash, and perhaps install the new Volt gauge that Rijk recently purchased. I told Marilyn that the only gauge #228 is missing is a Volt meter!

You cannot polish the dash. It is coated in a clear finish. But protecting the leather from the aluminum is correct.

There seems to be not enough room in the traditional spot for the volt meter. Maybe the A pillar increased in size, since the volt meter made place for a vent.

                Hi Rijk,

Very interesting. In fact, I also said to Marilyn, "Look at the size of the A pillars in this thing." Guess the larger A pillars help substantiate the fact that it takes over 18,000 foot-pounds-force to deflect the chassis one degree!

Victor told me that for the Venator chassis it takes 36,000 FP.

Awesome! The greatest pleasure in life revolves around torque management! And to quote IVR007, "...doing what people say you cannot do."

                    • Look what I found on the first page of the #007 thread:

                      http://www.spykerowner.com/forum/sho...hp?t=8&page=31

This was eight years ago, within one month of starting the spykerowner. Who would have predicted that....

I would think in the leather panel under the dash. There are two slots left and right of the steering column, but that seems to be only for heat, and not AC. I have no way of testing that with the engine disconnected.
