    How much work is it to open the clam shell? It's not like you just pop it open right, for instance I see you have to unbolt that shiny cilindrical thing.. So what were the serious problems you mentioned earlier?

    Today we opened the rear clamshell for the first time ever (ourselves). Boy, was it dirty under there....

    We found some serious problems. More about that tomorrow. Including some pictures

    While we were in Europe, the 107 has been used by Victor, but she is back here upstate NY. Unfortunately we had to put the top back on, because there was no indoor parking on Long Island, where Victor was.

    The top is still on. We had no time yet to take it off, but don't worry, I haven't closed it yet.

    I actually realized again how I hate to not have the center mirror while driving. The periscope mirror would come in handy right now.
