      • You need the propeller steering wheel. Jasper made a new batch...

              • image_19026.jpeg image_19025.jpeg Oh. It's on. And, I got rid of the mouse fur well for the top! Also, credit Ben Rutstein photography for the shoot.

                • I had the rear shelve done too at the time, it looks so much better

The propeller steering wheel is a must. Now you need the periscope mirror....

                  • Without a top, I don't know why? What does the periscope add? The windscreen is so fragile, I'm not inclined to mess with it.

                    • No, no, no need for the periscope once you have removed the cloth top. Your leather work behind the seats looks much like that arranged for me by Chris Mora & VF Engineering at the time I had #083 supercharged.

The windscreen isn't as fragile as some. I had to re-mount my mirror at one point and it was a painless process, which turned out very well. Probably my only successful car repair (I am not mechanical!).

                      • The windshield is not as fragile as people make it out to be. You don't need a periscope mirror, but you don't need a propeller steering wheel either. It is just such a cool design. I don't think that any windshields broke in day to day use, but just by a clueless passenger saying "this is cool" and yanking the mirror
