  • #139 - C8 Spyder - Black/Black

    Making the list complete....

For sale at Motorcars of Georgia (The Bimmer Store) #139, a black C8 Spyder, black interior with white stitching. Cool to see the different colours on all the buttons.

                Cool! A nice combo IMHO.

I wonder how it ended up here?

That's no miracle. Have you seen the exchange rate of the dollar lately? The US dealer just couldn't sell this car in the USA and the Dutch guys just wanted to take the gamble. Especially because this car was 'very cheap' for them.

Of course, the low dollar exchange rate. I wasn't thinking last night (switched of my brain and was just browsing Spyker sites & pics :lol.

But you must agree that it does not happen very often, that US Spyker cars end up in Holland, or in Europe for that matter.
And I must say that Van Asselt is taking a big risk, by trying to sell it on the Dutch market. True, there has been some activity on the market, but so many Spykers initiallly sold end up back at a carsales company. Look at Michiel Mol's orange Spyder. After he sold it to a company, it changed hands 2 times (or is it already 3?) but only to a carsales company!

By the way, how do we know it's #139?
Or let me be more specific: do you know the VIN of the car at Van Asselt? I didn't see it in their ad?

If you look on their website you will see they use the pictures from Motorcars of Georgia where you see #139. So I guess it is logical that they bought that car.

Allright, I'll try not to be so hasty in checking new things next time.

                          yes, quite logical!
