Finally the insurmountable iced snow layer in front of my garage is gone, and first thing I did yesterday was taking out the Spyker from its hiding space and asked my wife for an errand to run

Because the Spyker has a master switch, the car has not been on a trickle charger, and I was a little concerned, but the car started right up

We were finally back upstate for a short weekend, and I got some driving in.

The mountain roads are still to dirty, but that will soon change.

I led a small group from LotusTalk there in the fall last year. It was late on a Sunday afternoon and Rjik and his family had already returned to NYC. I was the Porsche Club member that stopped there yesterday. I belong to PCA, Planet Porsche (formerly know as the Cayman Club) and Lotus Talk.

Lotus Talk has a drive planned for August that will take them thru there. I will be with them leading the group. I did the routing for this drive along with another LT member (carbuff). If it's ok with Rjik we'll schedule a stop at his house.
