I am not sure about "two brothers". In Asian masks, typically the good one has narrow Asian eyes (Aileron) and the bad one has round eyes (SWB). See pictures from Indonesia, Wayang shadow play, and Japan, Noh play.

I wonder if the character of the cars actually reflects that...
