Some new information and lots of speculation about this Double 12:
This Double 12 was initially fitted with a Ruby Red interior and a normal gearbox and than Supercharged at MTM before being delivered by Spyker to a Russian customer. This is a photograph of the car in her initial configuration: 16052006004_Spyker factory 25-05-2006.jpg (note the Supercharger badges) This shot was taken at may 25th 2006 and it is the earliest picture of this Double 12 I could find. After some time, the Russian owner wanted an automatic gearbox and this was fitted by Spyker. It is possible that the photographs posted by F Spider (see the first post of this thread) were made when this conversion was made. This is not certain, just speculation by me, but #059 was at Zeewolde at one time in 2007, as the photographs of F Spider show. The interior was still Ruby Red at that time. When the Russian got his Double 12 back, he did not like the automatic gearbox because he felt it did not match the Supercharger. So he decided to have a non-supercharged fitted. This switch could have been made at some point during the first half of 2008 - but this also speculation - because at the factory visit at august 18th of the same year there was this Supercharged engine: engine #059_1_genomen op 18-08-2008.jpg (note the text "S.C. ex #059") I think the interior was also changed from Ruby to Tropicana at this stage but again, this is speculation. This time, the Russian client complained about a lack of power and decided to again have a Supercharged engine fitted, this was done at MTM though. By this time the interior had allready changed to Tropicana Orange, except for the steeringwheel, revealing that the interior once was Ruby Red: Spyker by MTM_3.jpg In august 2009, there was an article about this Double 12 in Auto Motor und Sport. Currently for Sale at Konig Motor Club - Spyker of Moscow with Squadron livery.
