It's probably related to the fact that they wanted official type approval for the Spyker. Maybe they did this in early 2004 or so, and that the US agencies decided to approve the car for Model Year 2005 ... but this is just guessing ...

@bucciali, it is also weird that the first registration date of the #007 is 1 July 2005.

No, it's not free of charge. For $29.99 (excl. taxes) you can get the "30 day unlimited vehicle history reports". So, that should be necessary to get the Carfax reports of all the cars ...

For more info, check CARFAX and enter one of the VINs ...

I just sent bucciali my log/pass so he can pull these buggers up. I will then print them to PDF and either upload them or have the admin do it in one fell swoop. We'll get some info on these things one way or another! Incidently, if you are looking to buy a car soon in the US and would like me to pull one for you just PM.
