Jumping a C8...

Not what you think..

if the C8 is closed and locked, and the battery goes dead.. how do you jump start the car?

You have to make SURE that you have the little key. It will open your doors if the roof is closed and you are out of juice.

Is the roof open? If so, I suggest using a stool to climb in and release the hood latch.

No, the roof must be closed, otherwise you could just use the inside doorhandle to open the door.
