The Spyker was only 'rebatched' as a police car for publicity.
The Italian police actually have a Lambo as real police car

We (
 ) have 4 Gallardos, two standard cars and two LP560, even i fprobably the newer cars replaced the older ones. They are used for emergency organ transport and stuff like that, not as high speed chasers.In the UK they also has a 612 and a Caparo T1. While the 612 should be "for real" the Caparo was another publicity stunt. IIRC Holland also had a Countach in the past.

That was one of the two old Gallardo Police-cars, which are only showcars by now (belonging to the Lamborghini museum). Italian Police have got two new LP560-4 Gallardos since around a year. This one had an accident on the way home after they had it at a carshow. Very sad.
