Introduction....

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the forum... I will be picking up my new Spyker C8 on Wednesday #109.

Back story to my purchase... I stopped by Manhattan Motor Cars on Thursday of last week to look at another car, after looking I decided it was not the right car. As I was walking back to the the salesman's desk I spot the Spyker C8 on the floor. Now I have seen theses cars at the auto shows and thought beautiful car but I never though about buying one for whatever reason.

Then my sales guy Robert said "you know we have four new leftover 06's with very special pricing"... I was hooked. I gave him a deposit on #109. Now to be honest, when I left the showroom I told Robert I wasn't 100% sure... Give me until 5pm Saturday to make my mind up. Let me tell you for the next two days I did research on the car and company, read everything I could about this car and I must admit I fell in love, I can't get this car off my mind... long story short I can't wait to pick her up on Wednesday.

I am looking froward to interacting with you guys.

A road trip would be great... I can only imagine the looks we would get with a few C8's at one location

Rijk:

What's the headcount or shall I say C8 count for the Tri-State area?

Congratulations on your purchase!

Make sure you crank up the 'fun-gauge' (odometer )!!

What were you looking for before making the right choice?
