that was my understanding, but I am sure you need someone that knows how to get approval into Canada.

The Aileron will be Canadian ready out of the box, from what I am told.

Is that true? I recall an article about spyker getting the right to sell in the U.S., and if I'm not mistaken the cars weren't allowed to have any loose objects fall out of them if they were turned upside-down after the crashtest.. Sounded kind of wacky, I'm not sure if the same requirement is used in the rest of the world.

By the way, why will you only get a Spider? In my humble opinion the Laviolette is certainly the better looking of the two. And I guess also the most comfortable if you're living in Canada

My importer is having no luck dealing with Spyker USA. He is now trying to get a hold of some one at Spyker Netherlands that speaks english that can put us in touch with the right person to talk too at Spyker. All we need from Spyker is the proper paper work to give to Transport Canada!

It seems that Spyker is making the Aileron there number one priority and isn't interested in getting the C8 into Canada. If anybody from Spyker is reading this "PLEASE HELP ME GET A C8 INTO CANADA" call my importer James Simpson #416-841-8196

Thanks for the help guys! My importer has the Spyker engineer's info but he has been on Vacation for the last 3 weeks. As soon as he is back things should start rolling.

That is AWESOME news!!!! Thanks for the info Vinny. The only question is will I be able to import 2006 models into Canada?

A 2009 Spyker's MSRP in Canada will probably be in the $300,000 CAN range which will be way to expensive, so I'm only interested in 2006 models!
