Yesterday, I was finally back in NY, and I quickly popped into the auto show, right as it opened for the day (you have to be early, because it gets impossibly busy). However, there was nobody yet at the Manhattan Motorcars stand, and the white C8 was covered. The orange Laviolette was there in all its glory.
There was only a guard and a dust-off man. They were talking to each other in the Rolls section. A woman sent her kid under the cordoned area to stand next to the Laviolette, so she could make some pictures. This kid (4 years old or so) had a jacket on With Large Metal Zippers and was hugging the front of the car. I shudder to think about the paint
