... seen in other forums

Here we should place cites about Spyker, seen in other forums. For example:

"Are those side intakes on the blue Spyker there to catch rabbits?"

"No, I believe to suck in women's skirts "

"I've done the Ferrari / Lambo thing and something has been niggling away at me for a while, a feeling that all the obsession with speed and lap times is somehow irrelevant to using your car on the road.

I've thought about more GT stuff like F612 or Aston, even Bentley, but they just don't excite me for some reason. I've even thought about ditching the whole fast car thing and going for luxury, Flying Spur or Range Rover even, but I just know I'd be bored within days.

Now in a strange moment of clarity I think I really like Spykers!"

"I love Spyker's. A very good friend of mine had one at his disposal for a while and was kind enough to take me out in it. Not the quickest of machines (but you already know that) but, as previously mentioned - the sense of occasion with these things is unbelievable ! The noise is fantastic and there is not one component on the car that i could find that hadn't had hours and hours and hours of attention to detail spent on it. Whether one thinks they are a good looking car or not boils down to the saying : Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think they're great and almost boarding on a work of art."

"All I can say is that as a Woman (grown one at that!) I ADORE the Spyker and in particular the Spyder. Have to have it with full Sports mode and it is just orgasmic when you hear the noise. Can't beat it and I love the car. Seen one regularly and they are just the top of the league when it comes to noise and far beats a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Would buy one any day! "

Looking at the above, you either love the Spyker or you hate the Spyker.
Which i think is good because it does not come across as 'so and so'.

Nice to read.

"About time we heard some good news. The recession is 'over', Saab has been saved by some crazy Dutch folk. Things are looking up. Maybe, perhaps... one can dream! " seen here

comment on Spyker moving production to the UK

"Suppliers, skilled workforce and history all reside here so how come bloody Qatar and Shanghai et al all get a bloody Grand Prix and we don't...... But anyway Spyker is a welcome addition to these shores and they are bloody good looking cars which might drive better now....."
