1903 Spyker scale model

The first 4x4 in the world was produced by Spyker.

Laika-Vintage Scale Cars Holland made a 1/8 scale model

@amzamz: they also make 1/8 scale Bugattis, see: Bugatti miniature models

wow!

Models are great, but driving one would be better, wouldn't it?

I think, making an actual replica of that car would be really awesome! If anyone would like to spend the money, I would be able to dig up the people to actually make a 1:1 clone, fully drivable...

Let me know, I can make the link...

I'm just struck by the notion that 100 years later, Spyker has made virtually no advances in "breeze control".

Some new pictures the owner of Laika Vintage models provided me with:

If anyone is interested in a Vintage Scale model, you can contact Jell Vos of course. @amzamz: He has already experience with building Bugatti tipo 35B

I remembered that some time ago, there was a show called 'Massive Speeds' on national geographic (presented by Chris Barrie). He drove the Spyker 60/80 in the Netherlands. A nice clip of it!!
