002

002: Cognac

This seems to be an updated interior. Are there any pictures of the original dash?

Propeller steering wheel
Aluminum steering column with four holes (are those for blinkers and high beams? How do they work)
Leather dash and console
Continuous console
Electric window switches in the doors
Leather top on A pillars
7 toggle switches and 7 check lights on the dash
Attached Images
File Type: jpg 002.jpg (30.6 KB, 42 views)

#007 has also got the 'Aluminum steering column with four holes'. They are just holes. Blinker is above/between rev and speed counter. High beam is one of the swithes in the middle of the upper dash.

Hardly visible but this photo shows a soft (leather or plastic?) ring around the heart of the steeringwheel. To cover the bolts? Or to prevent the driver being impaled by the steeringwheel? A similar ring can also be seen on some photographs of #043. (On a different note, the softtop is also very different)

Nice picture, had never seen it before. Strange roof indeed. Photo is taken at the RAI.

Indeed, makes you wonder why they didn't opted for this one for all the Spyders...
