What does everyone think about Spyker owning Saab?

What does everyone think about Spyker owning Saab?

I'd be interested in learning about the Spyker ownership perspective here.

R, Welcome to the site.

The combination of Spyker and Saab should be super beneficial for both companies. Saab needs to loose everything GM over time, beginning with the bureaucracy. With the promise to become the old Saab again, Saab needs to bring its customer base back to at least 75,000 cars per year as a break even point.

Saab needs to extend their model range upward, so that the top Saab can share the platform and other components with the bottom Spyker (the F6S)

Spyker can use Saab's R&D, share a wind tunnel, test track etc. When Spyker can produce at least 500 cars they break even also.

This is just my opinion. I'm not hindered by any knowledge on the subject.

F6S? Is that just you guessing or is the botom-of-the-line spyker going to have only a six-cylinder?
