  • Spring is coming

I can't wait until I can visit the local car shows. I know we don't have many US members, but I will try to get a list up and running.

Since I travel to Europe quite a bit, I'm trying to spend the weekends with my family. The Rhinebeck show is in driving distance from our weekend house and we can go there with my wife and two boys for the day.

Yeah spring is coming. I go to a lot of races. Maybe I can post some pictures of them in the Off Topic. Looks nice that Festival of Speed. Have fun there Rijk, if you go.

Second car show will be the Wide World of Cars benefit day on June first.

SpykerOwner (Hans) will travel especially to the US to be there (just like last year).

I'm trying to get Spyker #096 also.

More info as it becomes available.

The Rhinebeck cars how as a bust. The weather was miserable in the morning, and since I've got no top, Tom and I went after lunch. When we came there they had closed the registration gates at 1.00 PM.

We made our way around to the exit and entered there. There were maybe 300 cars instead of the expected 800.

I did see some friends, but did not take any pictures. Next time better.......

Ack. I wish I had seen this thread earlier. My girlfriend goes to Marist College near Rhinebeck (actually in Poughkeepsie) and I would have loved to see the Spykers...

But it sounds like maybe it didn't turn out so well

I'll be there on June 1st for certain

300 cars is a LOT, by the way...

The show was a bust, but I've got my new chairs for the next show.

The next show the #107 will be in, is the Scarsdale Concours on Fathersday, June 15. This is a huge show, that I was going to miss, but I will return to NY from Virginia Beach a day early.
