Is the Laviolette getting more populair?

Is it just me or do I start seeing more and more Laviolette models lately? In the first few years you only saw the C8 Spyder. And when there was a autoshow most of the time you saw some Spyder's and maybe a special model such as the Double 12S or LaTurbie. But even when you look at the chassis number you list you see that a lot more Laviolette's are beeing build.

Maybe that is also a reason why the Spyker Squadron will be racing with it next year and that the first new LWB model that will be unveiled in Geneva is a Laviolette.

The dealer from Florida was only ordering C8 Laviolettes. I guess that with the better airco, the Laviolettes are easier to live with in hot and humid climates than the C8 Spyders.

And Spyker is going to race with the Laviolette, maybe there is a connection?

The Laviolette is a great car, but I think that every Spyker that is. Or I'm wrong?
